I rode the Great Victorian Bike Ride 2006, in late November. I rode as a volunteer, supporting Diabetes Australia Victoria by generating awareness of the effects of diabetes for Type 1 diabetics, and promoting our Type 1 support group, HypoActive.

On a personal level, I have an abiding belief in lifelong learning and the importance of adult learning principles in workplace learning. I believe passionately that training needs to encompass the `soft' skills of communication, problem solving, and self esteem, as well as the `hard' skills relevant to work performance. Oh, also I like cycling, golf and trees :-)
